Michael Whiting - Full Stack Engineer

As having worked as Junior PHP developer early on in my career at eBay, I have let my passions stemming from being a somewhat a self-taught web developer (and Linux enthusiast), plus my studies attempting to obtain a BSc in Software Engineering/Computer science guide my specialisations. Drawn towards technologies that are stable, open, powerful and efficient, (like the World Wide Web), my experience has taught me to embrace best-practice software development cultural phenomenon such as DevOps, CI/CD, TDD/BDD, site reliability, Agile/Lean and defensive programming and additionally to live these practices in the creation of real-world and timely deliverables that are built the right way. My ideal next opportunity would be where I can continue to build on a vast background with both cutting edge backend and frontend architecture and frameworks.
